Unexpected Kindness

Recently I heard a story about a man who was doing some "research" about showing love to others. After he had done his shopping at the local supermarket, he would linger at his car and watch for little old ladies that would come out and unload their groceries to their car. Once they had the groceries unloaded, he would, from afar, ask if could take their cart back for them. Most were taken aback by the kindness he had shown them in this small gesture. Then one day when he asked a lady if he could take her cart, she burst into tears. She was overcome with emotion. Then she said to him, "Why would you be so kind to me?"
It's kindness. It is showing the lovingkindness of God. This is another way we show love to everyone. At LoveOne we say love everyone, but what we do, in all practicality, is love one person at a time, or maybe two or three. That is hesed, God's lovingkindness. It's simply being kind and showing a little love to someone in a culture that shows so much of the opposite. It's our duty, really, to love one another and to be of service to them in any small way that we can.
Be kind, serve and love one another.
